When a car condo is the better answer
There are collectors this page is wrong for, and it is worth saying which before you spend an afternoon on the comparison.
- You want the room itself. A private lounge, a lift, a mezzanine and a place to bring people is a clubhouse you happen to park in, and renting a storage space is not a substitute for it.
- You want to hold the asset. A unit is property, it can appreciate, and it can be sold. A monthly rate buys a service and leaves nothing behind.
- You want to work on the cars yourself. A bay you own is a bay you can keep tools in and spend a Saturday under a car in. Full Stop performs no mechanical or fluid work of any kind, and a storage floor is not a workshop.

Full Stop's first location occupies a 15,000-square-foot former DEA safehouse at 8080 NW 33rd Street in Miami-Dade, selected for the security infrastructure that was already in it. It is ten minutes from Miami International Airport.
The vehicle-storage areas are climate controlled and held between 70 and 75 degrees. The building carries 24/7 monitoring with full-color night vision, bulletproof window glass, steel roll-down doors and fire suppression. FEMA maps the address as an area of minimal flood hazard, outside the Special Flood Hazard Area, which is a property of the ground rather than something a building can be upgraded to later.
Owners with a collection can rotate which cars stay at home and which stay here, and door-to-door pickup and drop-off is available with every package, so the floor does not have to be somewhere you drive to.
