The facility

Full Stop's first location occupies a 15,000-square-foot former DEA safehouse in Miami-Dade, selected for its existing extensive security infrastructure.

Full Stop offers three storage options with varying levels of ongoing care. Door-to-door pickup and drop-off is available with each. A stay can be pro-rated by the day if you only need the car held for a short trip, and owners with a collection can rotate which cars stay home and which stay with us.

Built for drivers

Founder and former City of Miami Commissioner Ken Russell grew up taking care of cars. He developed an appreciation for cars as things to be cared for and driven. Years later, he taught himself welding, painting, electrical and interior work while restoring a 1965 Volvo 1800S he named the Sinner.

When Ken ran out of space for another project, he sold the Volvo, a decision he still regrets. As his collection grew, the same problem kept returning. Full Stop Garage grew from his need for secure storage where cars could be protected, cared for and ready to drive.

High Water Protection

Every hurricane. Every king tide. One annual fee.

We collect your car before the water comes, keep it indoors between 70 and 75 degrees, and bring it back. Transport included, however many storms come. $1,900 a year, per vehicle, with the space reserved before you call.

How it works

Before every hurricane or king tide:

  1. 1We pick up your vehicle from your home.
  2. 2We store it safely at our inland, climate-controlled garage.
  3. 3We return it when the danger passes.

Your space is guaranteed all year long.

Once you are enrolled, your spot is reserved for you, no matter how many storms or king tides occur.
