When you submit a form on our website or reservation page, we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, email address, phone number, and details about your vehicle and your storage needs. If you contact us by email or phone, we keep a record of that correspondence.

You are not required to give us any of this information, but we cannot respond to a storage inquiry without at least a name and a way to reach you.

When you visit our website we automatically record technical information about the visit: the pages you view, the site or advertisement that referred you, your browser, device type and approximate location, and a coded one-way value derived from your network address. We store that coded value rather than the network address itself. Our hosting provider necessarily sees your network address in order to serve the page. This is collected using first-party cookies and similar technologies.

We use analytics and advertising measurement tools to understand how visitors find and use our site and to measure the performance of our advertising. We do not load social media tracking pixels on this site. Where we report a completed inquiry or booking back to an advertising platform, any email address or phone number is converted to a one-way coded value first, and is never sent in readable form. You can switch our measurement off entirely using the choices described below.

Where you have not opted out, we may also derive a technical signature of your browser and a one-way coded value from your network address, and use them to recognise a returning visitor whose cookies have been cleared. These are stored as coded values, never as your network address itself, and both are switched off entirely for visitors who send a Global Privacy Control signal or who use the opt-out on this site.

We keep inquiry and client records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations, and then delete or anonymize them.

You do not have to wait for that. You can ask us to delete you at any time, and what that covers is set out under Your choices below.

You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@fullstopgarage.com with your request and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may need to retain certain records where the law requires it.

When we delete you, this is what that means in practice. We remove your inquiry, your customer and vehicle records, your bookings and service requests, any scheduled messages still queued for you, your portal login, and your row in the spreadsheet our team works from. Where a record must survive for tax or accounting reasons, we keep the payment record and remove everything on it that identifies you. We keep the anonymous fact that a visit happened, with every identifier removed, so that our traffic counts for past months do not change. You receive an itemized statement of exactly what was deleted and what was kept.

Two things we cannot undo, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. If we have already reported a conversion to an advertising platform using an advertising identifier from your visit, we ask Google to retract it, which stops it being counted but is not a deletion, and Meta offers no way to recall it at all. Our database also keeps short-term backups for disaster recovery, which expire on their own schedule.

We honour the Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals automatically: if your browser sends either one, we set no cookie, record no visit and store no advertising identifier for you, and there is nothing for you to do.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our website and communications may link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
