Real estate, not a garage
A down payment, a closing, an association with its own dues and rules, and a tax bill every year. None of that is storage.

Car condo alternative
Keep the car. Skip the real estate.
A garage condo asks you to buy a building before you can store a car in it. Full Stop is the same climate-controlled floor, the same security and the same care, rented by the month, with nothing to purchase and nothing to resell when the collection changes.
Not an argument about whether the buildings are nice. They are. It is an argument about what comes attached to the keys.
The two answers are not variations on each other. One is a property transaction with a garage attached, the other is a service with a monthly rate, and almost everything that differs between them follows from that.
| What is being compared | Buying a garage condo | Storing with Full Stop |
|---|---|---|
| What you are buying | A unit, held as real estate, with a deed and an association | A space and the care of the car in it, by the month |
| What it costs to start | A down payment and closing costs on a unit sized for a collection, whether you have one or not | From $749 a month, with no purchase and no build-out |
| What keeps costing | Association dues, property tax, insurance on the building, upkeep | The monthly rate. Door-to-door pickup and drop-off is included with every package |
| Climate control | Often fitted as standard, then run and maintained on your own meter and your own account | Maintained between 70 and 75 degrees, included |
| Security | Whatever the development provides, plus whatever you add inside the unit | 24/7 monitoring with full-color night vision, bulletproof window glass, steel roll-down doors and fire suppression |
| Care while it sits | Yours, on every visit | Battery trickle charging, a monthly startup and tire rolling from GT Driven up |
| Condition on record | Nothing is documented unless you document it | A visual inspection records cosmetic condition at intake and again before collection |
| Changing your mind | List the unit and wait for a buyer, paying dues until it closes | Month to month. A stay can be pro-rated by the day for a short trip |
| Where the ground is | A question to ask of the specific development, before anything else | FEMA maps this address as an area of minimal flood hazard, outside the Special Flood Hazard Area |
See the floor before you price a purchase. Tell us what you are storing and we will arrange a visit.
There are collectors this page is wrong for, and it is worth saying which before you spend an afternoon on the comparison.
Full Stop's first location occupies a 15,000-square-foot former DEA safehouse at 8080 NW 33rd Street in Miami-Dade, selected for the security infrastructure that was already in it. It is ten minutes from Miami International Airport.
The vehicle-storage areas are climate controlled and held between 70 and 75 degrees. The building carries 24/7 monitoring with full-color night vision, bulletproof window glass, steel roll-down doors and fire suppression. FEMA maps the address as an area of minimal flood hazard, outside the Special Flood Hazard Area, which is a property of the ground rather than something a building can be upgraded to later.
Owners with a collection can rotate which cars stay at home and which stay here, and door-to-door pickup and drop-off is available with every package, so the floor does not have to be somewhere you drive to.

Published, not quoted, and the same rate whether the car sits for a season or a year. What separates the packages is how much the car is driven and looked after, not how much floor it takes.
$999/ month
For owners who want their car cared for between drives. GT includes everything in LX Protected, plus battery trickle charging, a monthly startup, tire rolling, and two retrievals.
Reserve GTNot a reservation and not a tour slot. Three fields, and somebody who knows the building calls you back, usually inside one business day.
Pricing a unit is a bigger decision than a month of storage, and it is worth one phone call before the deposit rather than after it.
No. Nothing here is for sale. Storage is rented monthly, and the climate-controlled floor, the security and the care are included in the rate rather than bought as real estate and carried with its dues and its taxes.
Renting the same kind of space by the month. Full Stop keeps cars on a climate-controlled floor in a former DEA safehouse in Miami-Dade, from $749 a month, with no down payment, no association and nothing to sell on when the collection changes.
It depends on what you want from the room. If you want a private space to spend time in, to work on the cars yourself, or to hold as property, buying is the better answer and this page is not for you. If what you want is for the cars to be somewhere safe, climate controlled and looked after, a monthly rate gets that without a property transaction in front of it.
Full Stop publishes its monthly rates and they start at $749. We do not publish a comparison figure for buying, because the price of a unit, the association dues and the tax on it vary by development and we would be inventing a number. The structural difference is the part worth weighing: one is a purchase with ongoing costs attached, the other is a monthly rate with the care included.
Yes. Owners with a collection can rotate vehicles, changing which cars stay at home and which are held with us, and the team will set that arrangement up with you.
Storage is rented monthly, and a stay can be pro-rated by the day if you only need the car held for a short trip. Anything beyond the monthly rate is a conversation with a person rather than a published figure.
A person confirms this one with you directly.
